Richmond Tigers defender Noah Balta received his sentence today following an incident in Mulwala last December where he assaulted a man in a parking area.

The 25-year-old AFL player was present at Albury Local Court where Magistrate Melissa Humphrey delivered the verdict, imposing an 18-month community corrections order along with a $3,000 financial penalty.

Notably, the court mandated a strict curfew requiring Balta to remain at his Melbourne residence between the hours of 10pm and 6am until mid-2025. This restriction will prevent his participation in Richmond's traditional Anzac Eve match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Oskar Balta pleaded guilty to common assault for his role in the incident and was given a two-year conditional release order.
